Hotel Indigo Long Island - East End By Ihg - Riverhead

We ate at a great restaurant from the central lobby and restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyed the configuration of the luxurious bathroom and there were a microwave, a refrigerator, coffee and tea making facilities. Overall the staff was very good. Also, location was great, not very far from Tanger Outlets Riverhead.

The hotel is easily accessible from the highway and is centrally located in Long Island. For shopping enthusiasts, the location to the outlet center is surely an added value, it is actually right next to it within walking distance, even if I would not recommend walking due to the missing infrastructure. The staff was friendly. The beds were very good. Free parking spaces were available in sufficient number. We did not consume breakfast, we went to the Starbucks in the outlet center, the dinner in the restaurant of the hotel was very good and the prices were also ok. In total, it was a very relaxing and quiet stay and we liked it very much.

To visit Long Island and/or the Hamptons, the location is a good starting point. But it is clear that one does not get far there without a car. The hotel is isolated from the place, that means that if one does not want to drive by car, one eats in the restaurant of the hotel.

The room had a roll-in shower and was super accessible. Love the poolside service for drinks from the Bistro 72. Fitness center was great for a quick workout. Breakfast had options like croissants and organic juices. Enjoyed the heated outdoor pool, perfect for a relaxing afternoon. Very clean with attentive staff.

The room was spacious and clean, just as I like it. I had a lovely time chatting with the staff, especially Harry from the front desk-he went out of his way to help me navigate the area.

It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but for what we got, it was still acceptable.
